last night i watched that FRONTLINE program "a soldier's heart". i was so depressing. i don't know why, but it still shocks me how those of us who oppose the war (and opposed it from the start!) are considered traitors and terrorist sympathizers when bushco is hailed by many as a great leader for sending so many innocent people into harms way for nothing. not to mention all the senseless deaths of civilians. or the mental and emotional problems the soldiers who make it home safely carry with them.

it's such a tragedy and a waste. and such bitter irony...
