The Hell Marys won their first bout of the season in a hard fought match over the Hustlers. I was once again playing merch girls so I only caught a few jams: Dinah-Mite did not skate for the Hustlers. The Crusher went down hard in the first period and was later taken to the hospital with a broken nose. Hissy Fit jammed a few times and had a ,well, hissy fit. Team Captain Bloody Mary was bloody awesome. Final score Hell Marys 28 - Hustlers 22.

The second bout had The Hotrod Honeys leading the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers 30 - 27 at the half. Sparkle skated like a demon when she was jammer. The Honky Tonks came back in the second period to remain undefeated. Final score: Heartbreakers 49 - Hotrod Honeys 40.
